Gautam Nath, MBA - Balmoral Multicultural Marketing
Born in Egypt, father from India, mother from Czechoslovakia - he has lived in and traveled widely to over 25 countries across the globe. He is a senior marketing professional with over 2 decades of experience with global multinationals in the area of branding and research.
He is the Co-chair for the Multicultural Marketing Group at AMA (American Marketing Association) Toronto and is also the founder of the Multicultural Marketing Society of Canada.
Currently, he is the Vice President of Strategic Development at Balmoral Multicultural Marketing, Canada's oldest and a leading ethnic communications agency based in Toronto.
He was Director Marketing on the Board of the Indo Canada Chambers of Commerce 2009 – 2010 and presently on the Board at MCIS Language Services 2010 – 2016, the Advisory Board at the York University IEP program and the Advisory Board at Communications, Advertising and Marketing Professionals networking group. Additionally, he ran a regular magazine column called Building your Brand.
Gautam was awarded the Top 25 Canadian Immigrants Award in 2011. He works in giving back to the country by mentoring and motivating new Canadians in their journey.
He has featured on CBC National Television on Canada Day, CBC Radio, City TV, contributes to Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, Vancouver Sun. He is involved with Maytree and TRIEC initiatives and facilitates two online groups. He is also a speaker at the Canadian Marketing Association, Brock University, Rotmans, Seneca, Weston, Centennial, Boreal, U of T as well as many agencies across the GTA.
