As an art director, Curtis has over 20 years experience in advertising, direct marketing, interactive and promotions. Throughout that time he's worked with some of Canada's largest and most successful agencies like MacLaren Lintas, Young & Rubicam, FCB and BBDO. Curtis has held senior-level creative positions for a while and has been responsible for every facet of creative execution, including concept development, art direction, design and copywriting.
In 2001, Curtis was hired as Associate Creative Director at Proximity BBDO Canada, where he helped manage a creative department of 6 to 10 teams for 8 years, producing work for 20+ clients. In that time he helped build and lead those teams to a total of 70 international and domestic awards.
In 2010, Curtis was hired by Rosetta Interactive as Associate Creative Director to help guide the direct and digital work for Rogers Communications. In just a little more than 2 years, they won 16 domestic and international awards -- the highest tally Rogers had ever accumulated in such a short span of time. These awards were for many of Rogers' most successful campaigns to date.
Now at Agency59 Response in the role of Creative Director, Curtis leads his teams focusing on their B2B. consumer, and not for profit clients.
